The school offers wrap around care for your child. This means the school provides care from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Wraparound care
During normal term time, wrap around care comprises of:
Breakfast club from 7.30am to 8.30am
The normal school day runs from 8.30am – 3.30pm
After school care then runs from 3.30pm until 6pm

Booking and cancellations
Please contact the school office to book your child into our wrap around care provision. Tea must be booked 24 hours in advance, and will be charged for if not cancelled the day before. In order for us to arrange suitable staffing ratios, pre-reception and nursery children must be booked 48 hours in advance.
RESOURCES
A number of useful resources are available for both clubs, such as TV, video/DVD, CD player, arts and craft materials, puzzles, games, books, and use of outdoor items such as skipping ropes, hoops and balls (at the discretion of supervising staff). There is a ‘quiet’ area for the children to go to if they want to sit and read, or generally sit quietly.
COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS/CARERS
Here at Maldon Court, we believe that communication is vitally important to ensure that your child gets the very best of attention. We will communicate either verbally or through the home/school diary and ask you to do the same.
SPECIAL DIETS
We strive to be a nut-free zone here at Maldon Court and will take the same precautions in wraparound care. However, we cannot guarantee that the cereal offered in breakfast club has been made in a totally nut-free factory. If your child has an allergy/intolerance to any foodstuffs, please inform us immediately.
SAFEGUARDING
The welfare, health and safety of your child are of paramount importance to us and therefore we ask you to speak to the supervisor when collecting your child and before you sign them out. You will be required to give us recent photos of anyone who will be collecting your child from after school care.
