The Nursery Staff

Maldon Court Nursery has taken the lead from the Prep School in ensuring the staff you entrust to look after your children maintain the highest standards and expectations. 

We understand that you need to feel comfortable in leaving your child in our care and it is a privilege that our parents do so. 

We are proud to introduce you to our Nursery Team. They are an experienced, caring and highly knowledgeable group and they place a real importance on being approachable. They will be keen to share your child's earliest educational journey with you. 

Nursery Manager - Mrs Kim Callaghan

 I am delighted to be part of the Maldon Preparatory School team and to be managing the nursery in this wonderful school. 

I have been working with children since 1994 and during that time I have had the opportunity to care for and support children's needs and development. I have managed a nursery since 2001 and led a team of staff to give the best learning opportunities to children in a fun and educational environment.

It's a pleasure to see children grow and learn in such a lovely, friendly, calm environment. Maldon Court Nursery has all this as well as having dedicated staff that have the children at their heart.

Maldon Court nursery provides plenty of activities to help children flourish with their learning and development. We also provide the best possible care to make a happy environment for children and also their families.

My favourite part of being in the nursery is seeing how excited the children arrive in the morning ready for their day.

I am delighted to have joined Maldon Court Preparatory School in Spring Term 2018. I have previously worked in both public and private sector nurseries, day centres, nannying and working in schools in over 40 years in the childcare profession.

I am privileged to be part of the team at Maldon Court Nursery and am enjoying working in such a happy, safe and stimulating environment. I enjoy all aspects of working with the children at Maldon Court, being involved in all of their activities and building relationships with both them and their families.

I look forward to playing my part in making sure each and every child in our care reaches their full potential.

I joined Maldon court in January 2022. I previously worked at a private nursery. I am very proud to be a part of Maldon Court Preparatory School.

In the nursery we take the children’s interest’s and create fantastic set ups/activities to engage and stimulate the children.

The most rewarding part of working alongside a great team is watching the children explore and play but also learning as they go. I feel children learn more through play.

I enjoy creating memories with the children and I can’t wait for more memories to be created.
