Pre-Reception (ages 3-4)
Pre-Reception is the next stage of your child's education following on from their nursery years. Our Pre-Reception nurtures and fully prepares your child for entry in to Reception the following year. Practical activities enhance the children’s growing ability to make sense of the world through exploration, experimentation, observation, and discussion.
As they grow in confidence and independence, creative and physical play are seamlessly interwoven with more structured learning. The emphasis in these years is on all-round development and the ‘paired and shared’ key worker system reinforces relationships between children, parents and staff.
Every child in our Pre-Reception benefits from our excellent staff to child ratio, experienced and caring staff and an exciting and and secure learning environment located within the Prep School building. Like their Prep School peers the children also benefit from specialist PE and Music tuition.
The children leave our Pre-Reception as confident and well developed learners, fully prepared for full time education.
