The NSEA grassroots show jumping competition was held at Wix equestrian centre on Saturday, The Maldon Court Team comprised of Grace Whiteford who wasriding Charlie and Saucey, Bea Bonner who was riding Sox and Martha Curtis riding Lottie, all had clear rounds in the 40cms and the team won first place. Individually Grace came first., Bea was 5th and Martha 7th. In the 50 cm class, Grace went clear on Charlie and had 4 faults with Saucey, Bea rode an excellent clear roundand Martha rode very bravely at this height to complete the course. It was another excellent result against some stiff older opposition and the team came 2nd overall. Grace then rode individually at the 60 cm and went clear. It was a long day but was great fun. Thank you for all parents, ponies and children who got up early on a Saturday to represent the school.
