We have had a wonderful first day in Tollesbury on our Fellowship Afloat residential trip.
The children have already done so much. We arrived and unpacked in our dorms then had a delicious lunch and cake. Then we had a fabulous afternoon on the water in the power boats where all the children got to drive. We went across to Bradwell onto the beach and played some games.
We returned over the fisherman’s path (a path of sand bags that you can walk over to get to the sea wall at low tide). It was very muddy.
After dinner we went on a walk around Tollesbury to burn off some of our energy then came home to bed.
We are looking forward to a new fun packed day tomorrow.
