Day 1
Form 5 have been enjoying their first day at Fellowship Afloat. They have been exploring the Trinity, settling in, enjoying a fabulous lunch, completing their chores and getting ready for their first sailing trip.
DAY 2
We have had an excellent day today and even saw some sunshine.
We started the day rather early wity lots of excitement for what lay ahead. Everyone ate a hearty breakfast and wrapped up in lots of layers. We headed to the high ropes and Mrs Warman and I couldn't believe what a class of climbers we have. So many children scaled the course to the top and everyone overcame their nerves and climbed higher than their goal. It is such a privilege to get to know the children out of the classroom and see them have so much fun and excel in so many different ways.
After a lovely morning (mostly dry) we returned to the light ship for lunch. The afternoon was challenging team games. We saw some great listening, leading and communicating skills. We ended the day with a big roast dinner, games and a quiz night.
Everyone is looking forward to what day 3 has in store.
DAY 3
After a relatively early night the children had a great nights sleep. We all packed our bags before breakfast. Once again we had a lovely big breakfast which was much needed to keep us toasty whilst baring the elements for crabbing.
After crabbing and visiting the shop we went to the climbing wall followed by a lovely lunch and time to say goodbye.
Have a lovely Easter break Form 5, it was a pleasure to accompany you on this brilliant trip.
