The highlight of the week for the children was yesterday when we had our Christmas Jumper Day and our first ever whole school Christmas Dinner in the School Hall.
The hall was set out beautifully with a top table for our Form 6’s and all other children on tables around the hall. The children loved their crackers (thank you to FOMCS for buying these). We had Christmas music playing and the atmosphere was amazing. It was so special to hear the children’s reactions when they walked in the hall saying ‘WOW’! A special thank you to Mrs Webster and Mrs Fowden for all of their hard work to make the hall look so wonderful for the children and also to Mrs Hill and Mrs Hudson for their hard work to make such a delicious dinner.
Our afternoon culminated in our infamous Maldon Court’s Got Talent. All performers were super and the children thoroughly enjoyed every act. Mrs Short was our compere for the afternoon and we had ‘guest appearances’ from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams who were our judges! Congratulations to all children who won through to perform in the show.
